Capricorn Cx series – advanced AVI solution with color image acquisition

CIMS has launched its next generation of Capricorn based AVI solution for IC Substrates – Capricorn Cx series. This new product family features dual stage the original Capricorn platform but it is equipped with dual state-of-the art color cameras. CIMS color image acquisition technology significantly enhances and expands detection capabilities of Capricorn while further reducing false calls rate.

Capricorn Cx offers several models within its products family featuring multiple resolutions in order to achieve optimized performance for wide range of ICS strip types. Thanks to the dual camera and high speed automation, Capricorn Cx systems offer the most optimal throughput at high resolutions.

Furthermore, Capricorn Cx systems are fully compatible with advanced Industry 4.0 requirements including scanning and handling barcode information, internal and external database connectivity, full compatibility with CIMS virtual verification system specifically designed for AVI inspection (VVS/AVI), connectivity to AI-assisted verification solutions as well as supporting external data protocols for factory-wide smart factory integration.
